Tracts on Halloween

The subtitle of this discussion group calls evangelism our greatest calling, that is correct. In that greatest of callings is going to be some events that stand out. This halloween when possibly hundreds of children will come to your door with an open sack why not give them the Gospel. Illustrated Gospel tracts are very effective to planting seeds for Christ.
Your church could set up a table outside and put Gospel coloring books, Bibles (you would be suprised at how many don't have one), Gospel comics. While doing this the church could be a rest stop for weary parents with maybe a refreshment table of something warm to drink and donuts. They could be given a church bulletin and be invited to come..do what The LORD leads in this regard.He has already lead is to be witnesses and promised to give us power to do so.
This will be our twelth year and you WILL receive resistence doing this, that should be a clue your doing something for the kingdom of God. All these chats are wonderful, but lets be doers of The WORD and not just hearers, deceiving our own selves. Our greatest calling has some of the least participation, and yet we a promised power, and given a crown for soulwinning, don't let this opportunity pass you by. Let's not have a form of godliness and yet deny the power thereof-the power to witness!
