Yom Kippur
Posted by Cindy Dunlop on August 27, 2009 at 5:40pm in Deliverance, Psychiatry & Demonic Oppression
I have a thought for those on this forum.
Our Lord and Messiah fulfills the blood atonement of the goat alloted to YHVH.
This goat was offered up whole (burnt) on Yom Kippur.
Blood Atonement for the sins of All Israel.
The other goat was sent into the wilderness to Azazel (chief demon).
This was done once a year.
Took all day.
Could it be that on this day ....
All unclean spirits used by YHVH to punish those who sin who are In Covenant -old or new-are laid upon this goat and sent back to ha satan?
Once the sin has been confessed and repented the demon has no jurisdiction to persecute the believer.
I see in much of the deliverance ministry "sending off" of unclean spirits in the name of the Son by His Power, by His Blood. The demon is supposed to leave immediately.
Might take a fast and more prayer.
I see it also written in the NT.
Luk 11:24
"When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'
Luk 11:25
"And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.
Luk 11:26
"Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first."
How can the demons return if the house is "swept and put in order" unless the demons were not commanded to go someplace (maybe by way of the scapegoat to Azazel)?
or into pigs?
or into the abyss?
Did we miss something?
So, we have confessed our sins,
accepted the Moshiach as our Lord and Savior,
live Torah,
and still are afflicted even after confessing and commanding unclean spirits to leave.
Is there still a fulfillment of the "goat to Azazel" in the New Testament?
It has been recorded the early believers kept the whole Torah/Law.
Do we as believers in Messiah need to caste the sins we have committed onto the Goat of Azazel (and send the demons packing back to their leader) every year to cleanse ourselves completely?
We benefit from the Blood Atonement of our Lord as the Goat allotted to YHVH?
Too, the unclean spirits we have caste off, are they waiting to come back? or afflict someone nearby?
Just some thoughts.
