This discussion is in answer to another question by Sandra as to what I believe about the political entity in the Middle East called the Republic of Israel. And I think this is one of the most complicated as well as senstitive questions that can be asked. (I am unjustly accused of being 'anti-semitic' because of my position as you will see).

I do not believe that the creation of the Israeli state in 1948 constituted the restoration of biblical Israel or any part thereof (Judah). I believe Zionism to be a secular/socialist/occultic/Rothschild/Illuminati creation and that the political establishment there has nothing whatsoever to do with YHWH. The Israeli Republic was created through economic and political subterfuge, conspiracy, terrorism, murder, war-mongering and everything hostile to the Besorah/Gosepel of our Messiah that has more in common with first century zealotism (terrorism) and the spirit of the Maccabbees which Yah'shua denounced. It was not established in ways remotely resembling the mandate given to Moshe/Moses and Yehoshua/Joshua. I believe the Israeli state to be an Edomite counterfeit. I believe the Jewish people are being cynically manipulated and used and there are many who have not fallen for all the lies - see, for example:

Having said that, though, I do not deny that YHWH is using this entity for His own purposes, that He has some of His people in the land there and that they have an important end-time rôle as far as the House of Judah is concerned. I believe that the vast majority of those who call themselves Jews who live there (and abroad still) have no racial connection to father Avraham/Abraham and have no business being there, or anyone who rejects King Yah'shua. It is for this (and many other reasons) that I not only reject Zionism but also the mass migration of Jews to the land. Indeed, if I am reading the Book of Ezekiel properly, I believe that there will be a nuclear holocaust in the country which could happen at any time (perhaps as a result of an ill-conceived Israeli-US move against Iran).

This is not a popular view amongst Messianics but one I firmly believe in. I believe it is a grave error supporting Zionism and the Israeli state in the Middle East, even if it is the most 'democratic' nation in the area (democracy has not stopped it from becoming a moral cesspit). There is no 'Jew' or 'Gentile' in Messiah Yah'shua - they are one entitity, One Messianic House. (That's why we also call ourselves One House Messianic Israel).

I believe that true Israel consists of those who have accepted Yah'shua as Messiah and are living Torah, that they remain in diaspora even though some are to be found in the Israeli Republic. I believe the ruling authorities there essentially represent a hostile anti-messiah cabal, that Christians and Messianics are deceived into supporting it (for Yah'shua said that His Kingdom was not of this world system).
