I recommend you put her in contact with LIFE - Save the Unborn Child which is not only an anti-abortion organisation but helps pregnant single mothers by giving them a home (if they need it) and helping them put children up for adoption. I used to work for them long ago.

Try and persuade her to get in contact with them. Though Life is staffed by many Christians they don't 'talk religion' but simply focus on the facts. The website will arm you with plenty of solid info.

What progress has been made here, sister?

Right after high school(many moons ago) a friend of mine, who had been raped by her dad and was pregnant with twins, asked me to go with her, to another state so that she could get an abortion. She was almost 6 months pregnant and they were the only ones that would do it that late into the pregnancy.

I was not a christian back then, however I was not thrilled with the idea and even tried to talk her out of it, but sharing a similar background as she, I understood the shame and disgust she was feeling and though it was not an easy choice for her, she felt she had no other choice. We had to stay in a hotel for the weekend. She went in, they gave her a shot and sent her back to the hotel. She was in labor most of the night, and cried and cried over her choice and what she was now doing to her babies. I cried too.

The next morning I took her back to the doctors and they checked her out and sent her home. She never fully recovered from that. Even 20 yrs later she would speak of it with sorrow and regret.

Your friend will forever regret such a decision and it will haunt her the rest of her days, because it is murder, plain and simple, even if she thinks it won't bother her, as my friend did, even as I did to a degree, it changes you.

So I pray that she make the right choice for the life growing inside of her and for her own life and heart.

I spoke with her last week and she was adamant that she would go ahead with it. Her attitude to my suggestion that it was against the will of God was that she didn't care what God thought, she just couldn't handle having another child. She already has 2 or maybe three. I wash my hands of it now. Her mind is made up.

Don't give up on her - what is impossible for man is possible for Yahweh. Have faith and love that child - invoke Yahweh's protection over it day and night, pray for her heart to be changed. Don't give up on that little one.

The main issue she relies on for her attitude is that she doesn't believe there is life in her...yet. Maybe some local intervention would be best. The promiscuity is also an area where her perception needs to become more focused. Whatever you do, try to deal with her desires and the place where she is at today. This is sucha personal matter I would find local believers who have a heart for this kind of ministry and by all means pray intensely.
