LET US BE CALLED BY THY NAME…..

Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
This is a verse that I am going to have to spend some time with. Someone suggested to me, that these “seven women” represent the seven churches, perhaps those spoken of by our Lord in Revelation. Should this be the case, then what follows is staggering, relative to the “modern church of the USA” and other places.
If these 7 women are indeed crying out to the Lord Jesus Christ, it boggles the mind at the truth that follows. For indeed, churches in the last 50 years have accelerated the “freedom” of eating their own bread. They have fashioned a messiah of their own design, rather than bowing to God’s gift to all mankind. Jesus said, “I am the Bread of Life”, yet they eat a bread of their own choosing, secular humanism, self gratification, pleasure, comfort, entertainment, amusement, totally a bread of self centered , “gimme, gimme, gimme”! It is not His bread, and it is not His Life! Furthermore, it is NOT HIS CHURCH!
“We will wear our own garment”. Oh? Listen to what Jesus had to say about this…..
Matthew 22
10And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests.
11But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment.
12And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless ([a]muzzled, gagged).
13Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
14For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.
They are not clothed with His righteousness because they are not of His bread. One would never expect to see an ambassador of any government on earth show up for a state meeting in a faded T shirt and jeans with the knees out. They would likely be deported immediately as an imposter. Yet the popular fad, taken from the non-comformant rock culture has been welcomed into our fellowship and church meetings, along with the smoke, mirrors, laser lights etc. Even the music has been changed “to our own liking”. ICABOD!!!!!!!!! Imposters!!!
The glory of the Lord has departed and they don’t even know it. So subtle the work of satan among them that they have welcomed antichrist and don’t even suspect the fraud taking place. Yet they want to be called by His Name? Such nerve! Such hideous lack of respect and mockery of worship! “Oh but we’re winning them”! TOO WHAT?
Man builds cathedrals to his own kingdom. Pleasure palaces. There has been more “church” in this country in a small wooden building with a wood stove out in the country, than in auditoriums made of glass. There has been more worship by some folks gathered together clapping their hands as instruments of praise, than in all of man’s efforts to build his own kingdom and worship himself, yet have the NERVE to ask the Lord Jesus Christ who bore the agony of the wrath of God in our place to put His Holy Sacred Name on our filthy rags. What blasphemy!
Jesus said, “deny yourself”!!! Most people in this country have not a clue as to what this means. Yet it is an entry criteria into His kingdom. You want to be His disciple? Deny yourself! Lay down your LIFE! That is the only way you get His life.
He said His kingdom was like a treasure hidden in a field, once discovered a man would sell all that he has to purchase the field, and possess the treasure. He is that treasure. It cost Him EVERYTHING, to purchase that treasure and hide it there for you to discover. Think not His grace is cheap. It wasn’t purchased cheap. It’s cost to Him was EVERYTHING including fellowship with His Father in heaven, that He might take upon Himself the wrath of God for our sin. Our SIN! It is because of this that He can ask YOU and I to lay down everything for Him and His grace. Oh Lord, let someone read this who has an open and humble heart.
Jesus said, “He who keeps his life, shall surely lost it. But he who loses his life for My sake, shall surely keep it.” It costs EVERYTHING you are and everything you have to become His disciple. EVERYTHING! Please, I beg you, please don’t settle for anything less than all you have. Go to the cross by faith, and die to self, that you may offer the only acceptable sacrifice to God; faith in His Son’s shed blood for your sin, and all of your heart to the very depth of who you are. Then, become His slave, instead of a slave to self and sin. Then He will gladly bestow His name on who you are, Whose you are, and all you lay hand upon. This could not be more important.
As for those in Isaiah 4:1 above? They will burn forever in HELL for their ungodly lack of respect for His majesty, splendor, power, and might. King of kings! That means all bow to Him. The ones mentioned in chapter 4 vs 1? They want Him to bow down to them. They want God to serve them, rather than the other way around. It shall NEVER BE! They are like the first drop on a very high roller coaster, where the track at the bottom will plunge them straight to hell! Selah! Pause and think of that!
