Yom Kippur 2007
Part 3: Admonition and Neilah Service
Main Themes:
Minor Themes:
Continued from Part 2
Brethren and sisters, we are here gathered for the concluding service of Yom Kippur before sunset brings this day to a final end. In these remaining minutes we still have the opportunity to make teshuvah or repent before we are presented for judgment on this Yom haDin or Day of Judgment.
We come first of all to be judged ourselves. We have all sinned in many things and need to put them right as best we can. We shall be making personal repentance at the end of this service. But now we petition Yahweh to judge our enemies who have chosen to make war on us, who seek to divide and destroy.
Last year at this time I made this statement to you all:
"Yahweh wants all your self-sovereignty, and especially that which you vowed to give Him last year and have taken back during the course of the year. Left unchecked, the carnal man has a way of taking back what it has deeded to Yahweh, and usually in small, barely noticeable steps". 1
Yahweh keeps us accountable to both the promises we made to Him and to others, just as He keeps covenant with us. We need to seriously reflect on what we promised Him last year on 2 October 2006.
One of the things we promised to do as a people was to finish what we had started and not to abandon our callings as spouses, parents and servants of the Kingdom. Some of us made sacred covenants not to repeat the sins of former years so as not to hurt those in our watchcare by breaking vows and trusts. I, for my part, am holding to all of those because they are sacred and binding. And I hereby publicly claim back that which is mine and entrusted to me by Yahweh which has been stolen from me and rebuke all those who are thieves and covenant-breakers, calling upon Yahweh-Elohim, the Malakim and the Council of Yah's elohim as my witnesses to establish my rights as a Son of Commandment seeking to establish the Kingdom of Yahweh. I call upon the heavens to oppress, distress, harass and otherwise punish those who have taken what is not theirs until such a time as everything has been made right, for this is their Yom haDin - their Day of Judgment. The fate of many of these was prophesied several years ago and now I call them to account.
I also publicly forgive my enemies and oppressors and release them of their debt-notes to me save that which Yahweh has entrusted to me and which they have stolen by violence, that which they have taken without my permission or blessing. They know who they are. Of this debt note they shall only be released upon the safe return of what has been given to me as a sacred stewardship. Until then they are under the curses of Yahweh Himself as prescribed by His Torah. I do not curse them, they curse themselves. Rather I seek for their restoration in His grace, their forgiveness and their safe return home if they will but embrace Yah'shua, obey His Torah and make restitution. If they will not, then they are bound over to the Elohim to receive the judgment of the heavenly Beit Din.
Today is not a day of levity but of sobriety:
"Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober" (1 Thess.5:6, KJV).
This is not a time to sleep but to be awake!
"Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you" (Eph.5:14, NIV).
A person who is a sleep is one who has turned his or her heart off by allowing the enemy to numb him to truth and righteousness. So in Yah'shua's Name I call upon all sleepers to AWAKE! Do not be like those who choose spiritual suicide:
"As water disappears from the sea or a riverbed becomes parched and dry, so man lies down and does not rise; till the heavens are no more, men will not awake or be roused from their sleep" (Job 14:11-12, NIV).
Let us rather make this time into a transfiguration experience:
"Peter and his companions (James & John) were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw [Yah'shua's] glory and the two men (Moses and Elijah) standing with Him" (Luke 9:32, NIV).
We cannot afford to miss this testimony, brethren and sisters. Who was it who came and stood next to the Saviour on the Mount of Transfiguration? Moses and Elijah! What do they represent? The Torah and the Nevi'im - the Law and the Prophets. Who stands next to Yah'shua today? These same men! And when Yah'shua is IN us, what else is in us too? The Law and the Prophets! What was the great and final prophecy made by the nevi'im in the Tanakh or Old Testament? Let us read it again:
"'Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire,' says Yahweh Almighty. 'Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere My Name (Yahweh), the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things,' says Yahweh Almighty. 'Remember the Torah of My servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel. See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of Yahweh comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse'" (Mal 4:1-6, NIV).
Those who turn the hearts of the children from their fathers are struck with a curse, and the land upon which they walk is cursed also. They are fighting against the Spirit of Elijah which is the end-time Sukkot anointing! Those who do this will meet the fate in this the last chapter of the Book of Malachi.
This ministry has received with open arms the Torah and now we stand ready and willing to embrace the Spirit of Elijah - the Ruach haEliyah. We bless our fathers, mothers and children with it who obey the commandments and have the testimony of Yah'shua. I ask for it to be amongst us as it was in days of old so that the threefold witness may be completed - Messiah, Torah and Nevi'im.
We have seen in recent weeks signs of what is to come. Who will be ready with us? Things are already moving here in Europe again as we continue to seek to move into the Sukkot endowment. There is much to be excited about. The work will move on with or without those who have been called but who have run either externally or internally. There is a new Ruach at work on a scale previously unseen - the Yachad haQodesh. Will you join with us? If you do, repent of your sins, come out of your hiding places, cease your pretenses, cease your rebellions and your harlotries and come home. And though we will always be here to receive you, we cannot wait any longer. We have to move on.
Now I know that one or two not assembled here today will want to 'test' this work by throwing themselves into the hands of 'Fortune and Destiny'. I shudder to think what will happen to those who play that game. Remember what Yahweh said would happen to those who take that road:
"But as for you who forsake Yahweh and forget My holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases Me" (Isa.65:11-12, NIV).
The better Way has better promises:
"Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the Elohim of Truth; he who takes an oath in the land will swear by the Elohim of Truth. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My eyes" (Isa.65:16, NIV).
This is what I told you this morning. Will you believe it? Yahweh is kind and merciful and offers the hand of mercy and forgiveness to you today - to all of us.
"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create" (Isa.65:17-18, NIV).
That is all I have to day this Yom Kippur. The promises and blessings have been set before you as well as the curses for those who reject them. Can it be stated plainer?
I now open the meeting for people to share whatever they want and then we will conclude with the Neila service. May Yahweh our Elohim bless you and lead your heart into all truth as you choose to now yield to Him! Amen.
(Confessions and Testimonies)
Neilah Service Conclusion
O Yahweh, Elohim of our fathers! Let our prayers come before You, through Yah'shua our Deliverer, and do not hide Yourself from our supplication. What shall we say to You who dwell on high? You know all things, both hidden and revealed. You search our hearts and thoughts. Nothing is hidden from Your sight. We are not so arrogant nor hardened to say, 'We are righteous and have not sinned.' For truly we have sinned. We have turned away from the good commandments (Mitzvot) You have given us. You are righteous and true in all Your ways, but we have done evil in Your sight. Thank You our Heavenly Father, and Elohim of our fathers, that You forgive all our sins, pardon all our iniquities, and grant atonement for all our transgressions through the blood of Yah'shua the Messiah.
For it is written: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". "Return O Israel to Yahweh-Elohim, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you and return to Yahweh. Say to Him, 'Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously, that we may present the fruit of our lips.'"
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by sinning willfully, and for the sin we committed in ignorance.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by slander, and for the sin of gossip.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by neglecting our responsibilities, and for the sin of selfishness.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by indulging evil thoughts, and for the sin of lust.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by being lukewarm, and for the sin of not loving You with all our hearts and souls.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not hungering and thirsting for righteousness, and for the sin of not being poor in spirit.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not being merciful, and for the sin of withholding when we could have given.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by speaking foolish words, and for the sin of not controlling our tongues.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not loving our neighbours, and for the sin of not blessing our enemies.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not turning the other cheek, and for the sin of practicing our righteousness before men.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by being proud, and for the sin of lack of zeal.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight knowingly, and for the sin we committed unknowingly. For all these, O Elohim of forgiveness, forgive us, pardon us, and grant us atonement in Yah'shua the Messiah.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not walking as Yah'shua walked, and for the sin of not being filled with Your Ruach.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by loving the world, and for the sin of loving the things in the world.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by putting other things before You, and for the sin of idolatry.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not praying at all times, and for the sin of not being thankful.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not being quick to forgive, and for the sin of holding resentments.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not going the second mile, and for the sin of impatience.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by not doing unto others as we would have them do unto us, and for the sin of greed.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by being anxious about the things of this life, and for the sin of not trusting You to provide for all of our needs.
- For the sin we committed in Your sight by setting our minds on the things below, and for the sin of not setting our minds on things above.
- For all these, O Elohim of forgiveness, forgive us, pardon us, and grant us atonement in Yah'shua the Messiah. Amen.
Shofar haGadol: Final blowing of the Trumpet signals closing of the Gates.
I hereby declare Yom Kippur at an end, in Yah'shua's Name. Amen!
