    18. The Anglo-Prussians

'Anglo-Prussian' is a loose term invented by myself to describe those diasapora Prussian Identitarians who are either of Anglo-Saxon (English) origin (principally in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa) and/or who are primarily Anglophone (English-speaking) who have some sort of ancestral connection to England (in the first instance) and possibly together with (though not necessarily) other ancestral connections to the present, or former, inhabitants of the Prussian lands, namely, Germans, Masurians, Kashubians, Schlonzaks (Silesians), Poles, Sorbs, Memellanders, Lithuanians, the original Prussians, Czechs, Dutch (and by extension, Boers), French Huguenots and (more recently, since 1947) Russian Königsbergers/Kaliningraders, remembering that to be a Prussian is an identity or way of being rather than a specific ethnicity. By far the majority of Anglo-Prussians today live in the United States.

Amongst the aims of the Anglo-Prussian are to support the restoration of the State of Prussia either as an independent entity (the more likely-to-succeed scenario without ill-will with neighbouring nations) or within a fully united Germany, its borders being defined by those that obtained in 1914 prior to the first Versailles and second Potsdam partitions. If in union with Germany, then major ethnic enclaves would be granted autonomy (e.g. Upper Silesia & Kashubia) with full recognition of the minority languages of those areas, and a part of the Posen Territory being recognised as belonging to the Polish State; if an independent state, then retaining the Posen Territory as autonomous region with separate majority German- and majority Polish-speaking areas, namely, South Prussia (capital, Bromberg) and Poznan (capital, Poznan/Posen), respectively.

In the event of the re-establishment of the Prussian State, Anglo-Prussians seek to encourage Prussian identitarians to assist in the peaceful and orderly repopulation of the territories east of the Oder-Neiße Line, whatever the ethnic background, giving the priority of return to the modern descendnts of the former inhabitants expelled after 1944, and thereafter to those who may have migrated before that time to countries like the United States or Russia in the 19th century or earlier. Any of the present Polish, Russian, Lithuanian or Czech inhabitants willing to embrace Prussianism would be permitted to remain and welcomed. We would also assist those present inhabitants not willing to embrace Prussianism or remain to return to those territorities in Eastern Poland and elsewhere in the former Soviet Union from which their ancestors' families were forcibly or voluntarily relocated after 1944 by the Bolsheviks, again in an orderly and a peaceful way. It is recognised that such a relocation of populations must be permitted a reasonable amount of time, up to a generation if needs be, to ensure fairness and civility.

We recognise that this may never happen for any number of reasons - political, economic, social, etc.. We recongise that the climate for such an endeavour does not remotely exist at the present time. There is just not the interest or will among any significant number of people. This could very well be, and remain, a pipe-dream. At the very minimum we should like to see an independent Kaliningrad Oblast become a testing ground for such an operation such as that described above. The opportunity for this presented itself at the tail end of the Soviet era during the time of Mikail Gorbatchov but was shamefully missed by German politicians who lacked the will-power to get anything moving. Such an opportunity may never come again and will certainly never happen in the Putin era.

Finally, unless such a project is done equitably and amicably it will never be permanent and we do not wish to sow new seeds of strife between nations which were former enemies but who have finally learned to get along with one another in peace following two terrible world wars. Prussianism may just remain as a pleasant dream. To get anywhere, it must be ignited in the souls of men and women in large numbers. And that is something we can certainly encourage and work at by spreading the word. Without Prussians, Prussia will never again be.
