Don't Be Noisy
Learning to Be Yahweh's Voice
We are but voices in the wilderness, like John the Baptist - voices that parade Messiah. But it is important to remember that we are not to be "noises" as Pharaoh was (Jer.46:17): noise is all wind but no worth. "I believed, therefore I have spoken" (2 Cor.4:13, ISRV) has to be the guiding principle of that voice. Because John was a voice, it was personal, containing his personality imprint. Our voices will contain ours too. What we say must be from personal conviction, impregnated with our life-passion. We must also be articulate, not vague and mumbling or an ear-splitting shout. And that voice must have heart in it, and must be inspired by the Ruach.
