After Rabin's death, it was widely believed that Rabin would be succeeded by Peres in the coming national Israeli elections. But Jonathan Netanyahu won -- as the Bible predicted -- and against the polls. The Bible Code went on to warn:

"The next war -- it will be after the death of Prime Minister Yitzhak"

Because of the nature of the coding it is more difficult to find events relating to the future than it is to find events and persons relating to the past. However, it would seem that Elohim (God) intended to know some things about the near future so that we can be prepared.

But before I look further into the codes, perhaps I could share a couple of experiences which lead me to be involved with them and sharing this message with you today:

In April 1997 I received a series of mysterious e-mails from a man I had never met. He told me that he had received a revelation directly from Elohim (God) to give me a Scripture. He was also given my e-mail address directly by revelation. The scripture was this:

"IF YAHWEH HAD NOT CUT SHORT THOSE DAYS (OF TROUBLE/ TRIBULATION), NO-ONE WOULD SURVIVE. BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT, WHOM HE HAS CHOSEN, HE HAS SHORTENED THEM" (Mark 13:20 see, The Olive Branch, Section 449).

I understood immediately that this meant that we had little time before an unprecedented time of horror would descend upon our planet.

The Bible Code seems to predict a number of important events that will take place in the very near future, though we cannot be absolutely sure until after the events. However, it does not seem as though the Bible Codes are to be used for prediction of this kind. Nevertheless, many have attempted to do this as as you will see some are accurate but some are not or have otherwise been delayed:

1. Libyan terrorists will launch a nuclear artillary attack on Israel from Jordan, destroying Jerusalem, which will precipitate a Third World War;

2. A great earthquake will take place in Los Angeles, California, in 2010;

3. Two great earthquakes will take place in China in 1976 and 2000 (the 1976 earthquake killed 800,000 people - the one in 2000 did not take place);

4. Communism will fall first in Russia and then China (Russian Communism has aleady fallen);

5. Assassination attempts will be made on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu;

6. An atomic holocaust will occur in Israel in the "End of Days" (Last Days);

7. At the "End of Days" there will be a great plague but Elohim (God) will intervene to save the world;

8. The Third World War will be caused by terrorists and will be a "war to the knife" -- a war of total annihilation;

9. A great earthquake will take place in Kobe, Japan in 1995 and in Toyko, Japan between 2000 and 2006 leading to a great economic collapse (the Kobe earthquake has already occurred - the 2006 one did not);

There are many more. What is interesting about these near-future events is that the Bible Code indicates that some of theses disasters may be avertable. It speaks of Prime Minister Netanyahu's time as being critically important (that is now) and that FIVE ROADS will open up before him -- 5 choices, that is. And regarding the atomic holocaust in Israel, comes the challenge in the Bible: "WILL YOU CHANGE IT?" The Bible Code also says that the plagues in Israel and Japan will be delayed, but does not say how. The exoteric text of the Bible tells us that the prayers of the righteous are effective, and this may be the agent.

The Bible Code mentions so many details -- the tunnel under the Temple which sparked riots, the "annexed territories" (East Bank of Judaea-Samaria), and so much more, that we know it is

just as the exoteric part, the Bible books which we are familiar with (Genesis-Revelation) have proven themselves reliable in the matter of spiritual salvation.
